41st Annual Dogwood-Azalea Festival Charleston, Missouri -- April 16 - 19, 2009
	We invite you to join us each year in April for Charleston's Dogwood-Azalea Festival! Tour the 6 mile trail when Charleston glows with the beauty of magnificent dogwoods and azaleas at peak bloom. Enjoy gorgeous historic homes and three-generation dogwoods and azaleas - a true feast for the senses!

5K Race Time: 19th - 2pm
Cost: Pre-Registration - $12, Day of - $16 Race the beautiful scenic route in the oldest race event in Southeast Missouri! USATF Certified Course.

Art Show Time: 17th & 18th - 9am-5pm | 19th - 1-5pm
Cost: Free Talented Local artists display original works of art. Some items are for sale.

Arts & Crafts Show Time: 17th - 11am-7pm | 18th - 9am-5pm | 19th - 11am-4pm
Cost: Free Wood crafts, jewelry, and other quality crafts in a lovely park setting with food booths and entertainment.

Book Sale Time: 16th-18th - 8am-4pm
Cost: Free Great variety of reading material at even better prices! Come see!

Candlelight Tour Time: 18th at Dusk
Cost: n/a While luminaries line the Dogwood-Azalea Trail and banks of azaleas glow underneath the spotlights. Enjoy entertainment along the trail.

Carnival Time: 17th - 5-10pm | 18th - 10am-10pm | 19th - 10am-6pm
Cost: Varies Carnival rides the whole family can enjoy!

Carriage Rides Time: 18th - 12-8pm
Cost: $6 Adult, $4 Children Tour the lovely tree-lined streets in a horse-drawn carriage.

Charleston Arts/Tourism Council Art Show Time: 17th - 9am-4pm | 18th - 9am-7pm | 19th - 1-4pm
Cost: Free Area artists display their work downtown.

Charleston's Blooming Candlelight Review Show Time: 17th - 7pm
Cost: Free Showcasing multi-faceted local talen.

D&R Classic Toy Train Exhibit Time: 16th - 1-4pm | 17-18th - 10am-4pm | 19th - 1-4pm
Cost: Free Railroad displays and running of vintage model trains and accessories from 1930's to present day.

Fish Fry Time: 18th - 4-7pm
Cost: $8 Adults, $4 Children Charleston Kiwanis Club prepares fish with all of your favorite trimmings! Plenty of bus parking!

Hearnes Museum Time: 16-17th - 9am-4pm | 18th - 9am-12pm
Cost: Free View items from Missouri Governor Warren Hearnes' 22 years in elective office.

Historical Society Home Tour Time: 16-17th - 10am-4pm | 18th - 9am-4pm | 19th - 1-4pm
Cost: $3 Tour this lovely three story Victorian home built circa 1899! Today the Moore House remains one of the country's loveliest links to the past.

Home & Garden Tours Time: 16-17th - 1-5pm
Cost: $10 Tour the Moore Home and two other beautiful residences; walk through and vividly experience two spectacular gardens.

Ice Cream Social Time: 18th - 4:30-8pm
Cost: $3 Mingle with the locals and enjoy this old-fashioned fun-filled event!

Kiwanis Club Dog Show Time: 18th - 4pm
Cost: Free What is Fido's finest feature? You'll find out as Blue Ribbons are awarded to each family pet!

Parade Time: 18th - 11am
Cost: Free Watch the floats, marching units, Queen and more!

Petting Zoo/Show-Me Swine Races Time: 18th - 9am-5pm | 19th - 10am-5pm
Cost: Free Phillip's Show-Me Safari Exotic Animal Petting Zoo is a treat for all! Children and adults love to see our little "hams" race to the finish line!

Piano Praise Concert Time: 18th-1:30-4pm | 19th - 3:30pm
Cost: Free Eight pianos, 16 pianists, and one organist! Truly magnificent!

Plant Sale Time: 16-18th - 9am-5pm | 19th - 12-4pm
Cost: Free The Molly French Garden Club plant sale is a gardener's delight!

Queen Pageant Time: 13th - 6:30pm
Cost: $3 Admire the region's beuties as they compete for Festival Queen

Quilt Show Time: 16th - 12-5pm | 17th - 10am-5pm | 18th - 12-4pm | 19th - 1-4pm
Cost: $2 See the quilts and the beautiful new church sanctuary.

St. Henry's Box Lunch Time: 16-17th - 11am-2pm
Cost: $8 Let the good cooks of St. Henry's treat you to a delightful box lunch.
